Lorri Eckman has been appointed as a sales representative for the New England and mid-Atlantic states for Saxco International, Inc., it was announced by Rob Belke, vice president of sales and marketing.

             She will be directly responsible for the day-to-day development and management of business as it relates to the sale of glass bottles, PET containers, corks, closures, capsules and package decorating services in the New England and mid-Atlantic region for the world-wide packaging specialty company.

            Prior to being appointed at Saxco International, she was employed as the manager of regional sales operations for Diablo Valley Packaging in Knoxville , TN where she was involved with sales, customer service and sourcing of packaging for the food, beverage and consumer products industries. Before that, Eckman served as a corporate packaging buyer for Anchor Glass Container, of Tampa , FL , where she negotiated contracts, managed inventories and handled purchasing responsibilities. She also assisted with developing specifications and maintaining quality assurance relative to paper packaging materials.

            Eckman is a graduate of the University of South Florida in Tampa , FL where she earned a bachelors of science degree.
