SAXCO INTERNATIONAL HELPS ASSURE A ROBUST APPEARANCE

FOR NEW  SUPER-PREMIUM SAVVY VODKA

Savvy Distilleries, L.P., of Austin , Texas announced the introduction of its new super-premium SAVVY Vodka to the American spirits market.  It is the only super-premium vodka produced in Texas .

To assure an outstanding overall appearance commensurate with SAVVY’s high quality and smooth taste and provide a distinctive, bold shelf appearance, Savvy Distilleries engaged the services and world-wide resources of Saxco-International, Inc. of Horsham , PA , renowned packaging specialists for the wine and spirit industry.

Saxco-International sourced and supplied a 750ml cylindrical flint bottle with round shoulders and a long neck from Saverglass in France, one of its quality and reliable vendors in a vast global network.  The bottle was acid-etched to deliver an attractive frosted affect along with creative graphics and unique mask.  The acid-etching was completed by Quest, of Hillside , NJ , a much relied upon Saxco vendor.  The customized graphics for the bottle were supplied by Savvy Distilleries.

In addition, Quest silk-screened on the blue and white applied ceramic label on the front of the bottle which prominently displays the attractive SAVVY Vodka logo.  Saxco also provided the six-bottle custom shipping cases which were imprinted with special graphics and varnished for an upscale look.  Saxco called upon H.R. Industries, another of its sources to produce the shipping cases.

The bottle’s bar top closure is overfitted with a matching blue and white PVC sleeve displaying the SAVVY logo.  The PVC sleeve was supplied by the Texas distiller.

According to Chad Auler, founder and president of Savvy Distillers, “SAVVY Vodka is handcrafted in the heart of theTexas Hill Country in Austin and is made in small quantities with a focus on and dedication to quality.  SAVVY is made in small batch sizes of only 400 gallons.”

“In addition,” Auler relates, “the underlying philosophy in the production of SAVVY is to use the finest natural raw materials from Texas and combine them with the best of modern technology with old-world craftsmanship.  Our goal is to produce the highest quality vodka.”

SAVVY is produced from a fine grain grown in Texas , and the water used in SAVVY is perfection.  It flows from an Aquifer that lies deep beneath the Auler family ranch in the Texas Hill Country.  A custom designed state-of-the art 20-ft. column still was built to produce the SAVVY spirit.   This cutting edge technology produces a cleaner, purer and smoother vodka.

Auler is no stranger to the alcoholic beverage industry.  His family owns wine brands Fall Creek Vineyards in Texas and Perfect 10 from California .  He is owner and vice-president of Fall Creek Vineyards and is both a leader and pioneer in the Texas Wine Industry.  SAVVY is Auler’s first foray in the distilled spirits arena.

SAVVY Vodka is currently being marketed throughout Texas with plans to follow for distribution in additional states.  A 750ml bottle retails for $23-25.

According to Jimmy Owens , new product manager for Saxco International who worked closely with Auler on the packaging for SAVVY, “this was an exciting and dynamic project because we were able to combine our broad experience and knowledge with our extensive global resources and directly focus on an excellent end result.  SAVVY’s requirements embraced close adherence to product specifications and time parameters.”
