As part of its 20^th anniversary celebration, Chaddsford Winery, Chadds Ford , Pa. , is introducing The Portfolio Collection, co-owner Eric Miller’s personal portfolio of hand-crafted, small-production cuvées derived from his own vineyards, as well as others at the absolute peak of perfection.

Following on the heels of its premium Bordeaux blend, Merican, comes five additional selections representing Miller’s passion and hard work over the past 20 years.  “These wines embrace small prestigious bottlings, and we wanted them to look very special,” states Miller who co-owns and operates the winery with his wife, Lee.

To assist with the all-important packaging aspects for its new Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, two Chambourcins and a Due Rossi, the winery brought in Saxco Canada Co., a subsidiary of Saxco International Inc., worldwide packaging specialists for the wine and spirits industry.

To deliver a premium appearance for the five additions to The Portfolio Collection, Saxco Canada sourced and supplied an antique green, Jupiter-style, 750-mL bottle with a     push-up bottom from a vendor in Belgium .

In addition, the company arranged for the attractive gold-and-white front and back labels to be silk screened onto the bottles by Stanpak of Toronto, a long-time Saxco Canada vendor.  Chaddsford completed the bottles with its own closure.

“All the wines in The Portfolio Collection are being marketed as “Futures,” with any remaining cases offered through our retail outlets located in the Philadelphia area,” states Miller.
