SAXCO INTERNATIONAL TEAMS UP
WITH DAVID SHERMAN CORPORATION
TO HELP CREATE DISTINCTIVE NEW
PACKAGING FOR ARROW CORDIAL LINE

When David Sherman Corporation, St. Louis, MO, decided to focus new attention on its viable and popular Arrow Cordial Line, it decided to upgrade the all-important packaging aspect as part of the overall promotional push.

To help create a more attractive and distinctive proprietary appearance, it brought Saxco International Inc. of Horsham, PA, worldwide packaging specialists for the wine and spirits industry, early on into the project.

Saxco International supplied a unique private mold 750ml flint glass bottle, as well as a 1 liter standard flint glass bottle, to be used for the Arrow Line's some 35 different flavors of brandies, schnapps and liqueurs. Both bottles were manufactured with the classic Arrow "A" cartouche positioned on the shoulders. The bottles were supplied through Anchor Glass, Tampa, FL.

"The Arrow Cordial Line repositioning project was created to inject new life into a popular and viable brand which really hadn't received much attention in the last few years," explains Meg Syberg, director of marketing for David Sherman Corporation, international importers, exporters, bottlers, producers and marketers for the spirits industry. Syberg's department played an integral role in the project.

"After evaluation of the Arrow Line, we all concluded that with a little more energy, time and creativity, we would move the line to greater heights," states Syberg. "We have every confidence that time will prove us right."
